European RoHS Directive

 

 

The RoHS Directive came into force on 1 July 2006, it includes the elimination of Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent chromium, Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) It involves equipment categories that apply primarily to consumer goods.

RoHS Directive applies primarily to consumer goods. "Although hardly or indirectly affected, the entire Low Voltage offering will no longer contain any of the six regulated substances by December 2008. Although under no obligation, our desire to remain a model Group from a sustainable growth point of view drives us".
